People always ask me “how do you do it?” or comment that “it must be very stressful to do what you do every weekend.”

Honestly, I love the wedding industry for several reasons.  Meeting Ana and Miguel reminded me why I LOVE my job so much.  I admit it, my guilty pleasure is watching Korean Drama.  I’m always a sucker for how the guy courts the girl like in Boys Over Flowers or Stairway to Heaven, how they separate and then find each other again.  Well, meeting Ana and Miguel was like watching a scene in a favorite Korean Drama.

Ana and Miguel met way back in elementary school.  Do you call that “Love at first sight?” Whatever it was, Miguel knew that Ana was going to be in his life, one way or another.  They both grew up to be successful adults and had their own families.  Coincidentally, in 2004, they both had a falling out with their spouses and were reunited through mutual friends shortly after.  If that’s not called fate, I don’t know what is.  Instantly, chemistry sparked and six months later, they both knew it was meant to be.  Miguel, being the hopeless romantic that he is, he stole Ana away for the weekend to San Luis Obispo for the big proposal.  While jogging on the beach, Miguel got down on one knee and asked Ana to share the rest of her life with him.  Ana and Miguel exchanged vows at The Villa with close friends and family.
